Thamarai Yatra

It is proposed to arrange an agitation to highlight the feelings that the Government discriminates Hindu students in offering scholarships in educational Institutions. The Government provides scholarship to the students of the minority communities irrespective of income limit while as the Hindu students are denied the benefit of scholarship as that is given to the students of the minority communities.This is a gross inequality and injustice. So the BJP unit of Tamilnadu state decides to hold an agitation highlighting the said discrimination and injustice in Chennai on Saturday 29th, Jan 2011. People in from all over Tamilnadu have to be mobilized to hold the agitation in Chennai as a mark of the beginning. In this regard people from different sections of society from every district have to be made aware of the discrimination and injustice meted out to the Hindu students. It was proposed to start the yatra popularly known as “Thamarai Yatra” under BJP President Tamilnadu state.


The yatra started from Thiruvattrioor in Chennai....
